Finally getting around to hello

Music: none
Book: Incubus Dreams - Laurell K. Hamilton

The holidays have been interesting thus far. My gigs at the Mall of America were surprisingly fruitful and exhausting. So much happened that I wanted to write about but now I have to confess that my mind has turned to mush; all I want to do is stay in bed for a bit and sleep. My dog actually burrowed under the covers and made herself a cozy nest at the bottom of the bed last night. At first I thought I lost her, then damn near kicked her off the bed. No worries, Sweetie Pie is fine, in fact she was still snoring after the little fiasco. My sister moves out in a week - off to a new city so Mr. Manager and I can return to semi-normal living. The cat might need some recovery time as she enjoys rifeling through all of Carolyns things.

All in all, it's been an extremely busy year. I traveled all over the United States singing for my supper. Such a strange feeling to have a list of places to revisit and half the country left to explore. There is always land left to conquer (hmmm...how American?) I feel change...which is never bad...it just used to come in small doses, now it replaces a morning cup of coffee. Looking at my "to-do" list I'm overwhelmed with comfort and melancholy (spelling?).

Anyway, I hope every had & has a lovely holiday season and I wish you the best in 2005. Thank you for continued support, both musically and psychologically - because they are forever connected.

I'm off to write. Regards - Anne oh!....and it's Mr. Manager's birthday today : )
